Bi-Annual Service Contract Compliance and Performance Review

A bi-annual compliance and quality performance audit was conducted for the City’s 2 major service contracts for Open Space Maintenance and Amenity Tree Maintenance.

The audit process included a forensic review of monthly contractor reports, previous audits, and past performance evaluations. Field inspections were also undertaken by Xyst Consultants to assess the quality and effectiveness of contractor work across parks, open spaces, and tree maintenance.

A detailed outcome report was prepared, and a meeting was facilitated with key stakeholders to present findings and prioritised actions.

Project Benefit

The City sought to assess contract performance against the objectives and both general and specific requirements of two key service contracts. This included validating work quality and standards, evaluating effectiveness in meeting contractual obligations, and reviewing the level of customer complaints and responsiveness.
