Detailed design safety compliance

Xyst were commissioned by Invercargill City Council to complete a desktop review of playground detailed design drawings against NZS 5828:2015.

This process included checks of fall zones, free space, free height of fall, entrapments, equipment-specific restrictions, foundation depths, and other specifications.

Project Benefit

The design review process gives the client peace of mind that the playground design, if correctly constructed, will meet the requirements of NZS 5828:2015. A further commissioning inspection of the completed playground is required to back up the desktop design review.
