Documenting Levels of Service

And Developing MOU agreement

Xyst met with park maintenance team leaders to understand and document their current levels of service. This included sportsgrounds, public amenities, cemeteries and open space.

We worked with the team to assign each park a park category and agreed upon their appropriate quality standard.  i.e. premium, high, medium or basic.

The purpose of this work was to capture the current operational levels of service to ensure consistency, identify gaps in maintenance and understand how their current level of service compared to industry best practice. Capturing the levels of service also allowed regular performance audits to begin.

Project Benefit

Xyst worked with the client’s internal parks maintenance and operations team to capture their current levels of service and develop a service level agreement between the Council’s parks team and the parks maintenance team.
