Dannevirke Campground Transition Plan to In-house Management

Xyst supported Tararua District Council with a focused package of transition deliverables to enable the campground to move smoothly to an in‑house operating model. The work centred on completing the core compliance, safety, and operational documents needed for day‑one readiness.

Xyst undertook a current compliance review, updated and finalised the Camp Plan and site map, and developed a compliant Evacuation Plan and Risk Register. We also assisted with establishing service levels and the complaints process to support consistent operations.

To inform future investment, we prepared a concise report outlining scoped and prioritised capital works, including indicative cost estimates for lighting, CPTED improvements, and other essential upgrades.
